Birmingham City Football Club new sponsor for 2011- 2012 season
We are proud to be Birmingham City Football Club new sponsor for 2011- 2012 season. As part of the deal RationalFX have committed to set aside a significant amount of their shirt sponsorship rights to support local charities, with club and supporter involvement a key element.
RationalFX originally began talking to the club about match by match sponsorship opportunities but it was quickly realised that it was to the benefit of both companies to sign an initial one-year deal that has the scope for possible further extension.
Blues Commercial Manager Ian Dutton says: “From the very first conversation we had with RationalFX it was clear that the company mirrored Birmingham City’s professionalism and ambition.
"We are very much looking forward to working closely with such a dynamic, rapidly expanding company."
RationalFX Chairman and CEO Rajesh Agrawal gives his views on the sponsorship at the end of this release.
London-based RationalFX are authorised by the FSA and are leaders in their field in offering a whole range of services including domestic and international money transfers, overseas property payments, travel currency with home delivery and advice on making cheaper international payments.
The website also includes details of RationalFX's latest product, Xendpay, which allows customers to safely transfer money internationally directly to bank accounts and save money.
Following supporter feedback, club replica shirts will be sold to supporters with and without the RationalFX logo depending on what each fan prefers.
Tomorrow (Thursday 4 August) is the day the away kits go sale with home kits available to buy from 11 August. Supporters wishing to purchase shirts with the RationalFX logo featured will be able to buy them from 18 August. Infant kits will all be without the logo.
Anyone who has pre-ordered a shirt via www.bluesonlinestore.co.uk and wishes to have the RationalFX logo added can visit the Blues Superstore where it will be applied free of charge.
So, why are RationalFX so proud to work with Birmingham City and is there any more they can tell you about themselves?
RationalFX Chairman and CEO Rajesh Agrawal explains more in this informative Q & A...
Why are we sponsoring Birmingham City Football Club?
RationalFX has just passed one billion pounds of Foreign Exchange, and we have also just launched a new online money transfer service – Xendpay. So we feel that this is a perfect time to associate ourselves with a big club with silverware in the trophy cabinet and European football to look forward to!
How I (Rajesh) feel about the link-up...
I'm looking upon the coming season with great excitement. I and everyone at RationalFX intend to live every minute of it with the Blues fans - and we're backing Chris Hughton and the team to get the club back to the Premier League where it so obviously belongs.
Who are we and what do we do?
RationalFX is authorised by the FSA as a payments institution - which means we provide businesses and individuals with Foreign Exchange. Xendpay is our easy and low-cost online service for sending money around the world. Basically, if you need to transfer money overseas, we can save you money.
